Trick Dog / Task Dog / Service Dog

When people see the word Trick Dog they do not fully understand what trick training is.  Dogs learning different behaviors. Trick Training is simple process that can be used for different behaviors including obedience. Stop jumping up on you.  No problem teach your dog a sit trick.  When a dog is sitting they have 4 feet on the floor.  Sit is a trick, sit is an obedience command,  Sit is Sit. 

The basic commands are part of a trick dog program.  Sit, Down, Come, Walk on a loose leash Look at the owner and more.  

Therapy dogs come to learn how to so that they can do demos for their visits. 
Service Dogs come to learn tasks.  Get the leash, open a door, close a door.
